Senior Project Planning Specialist
Main duties and responsibilities:

Develop Integrated project plans, schedules and relevant planning documentation, working with the project leadership and team members

• Provide guidance on how and when to apply planning tools and best practices
  to support Wintershall’s projects.
• Act within certain projects as planning specialist, providing expertise and guidance on 
  work breakdowns, planning & scheduling and risk related issues.
• Execute schedule risk planning utilizing relevant Qualitative and Quantitative tools.
• Execute manpower planning and resource estimates as and when required.
• Coordinate planning issues with PMs, Engineering and other functional experts to 
   progress the projects through Wintershall’s Stage Gate Process.
• Implement best practices and templates into Primavera Planning system and promote
   its usage wherever relevant.
• Establish working relationships/knowledge exchange with OPCO planning & scheduling

As a senior project specialist, this person will also be called upon to train other employees and external parties (i.e. Gazprom personnel) on planning concepts and tools. The senior specialist is also expected to support other project management disciplines outside of planning (i.e. risk workshops, lessons learned workshops, etc.)

Qualification / Skills:

Proficient with English language, University degree with at least 4 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, risks & interface management, preferably certain E+P experience.

• Ability to examine and understand project scope/risks/cost/time constraints and translate them
   into plans and schedules
• Good schedule/cost risk awareness, and have ability to identify and integrate project technical &
   commercial interfaces.
• Experience setting up Progress/Baseline Management and schedule controls.
• Experience working with Planning/Scheduling/Risk software such as Primavera P6/MS
   Project/Primavera Risk Analysis.
